CALCULUS I

Calculus of functions of one variable. Topics include: functions, limits and continuity,derivatives and their applications, and definite integrals. Not open to students with credits in Mth 105.

  1. We will be using University Calculus, Early Transcendentals, 4th edition by Hass, Heil, Bogacki, Weir, and Thomas; Pearson © 2019; ISBN-13: 978-0134995540. A graphing calculator is a valuable tool for understanding many concepts presented in this course, however no calculators will be allowed during testng .

    • Any of the Schaum's Outline Series - Calculus
    • Any "Calculus" or "Analytic Geomtery and Calculus" authored by Lloyd L. Smail
    • Any edition of "Elements of the Differential and Integral Calculus" by Granville, Smith, and Longley
    • The last two (2) resources are out of print. However, copies may be found at AbeBooks
